Admission to the Department - Semesters - Degrees

Admission to the Department is based on the Law for Entrance Examinations. Candidates are tested in the special courses of Harmony and Dictee. The General Assembly of the Department has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of National Education and Cults for the inclusion of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia into the category of University Departments that require Special Entrance Examinations.
The duration of studies in the Department is, at least, 8 semesters. The Department offers all degrees including the doctoral degree.
The Bachelor of Arts degree may indicate the specialization in the major field of study:

The specialization "Applied Music Studies" contains 70 courses and the major field of study to which it belongs depends on the choice of the "Major Applied Area" by the student.
