Περιγραφή: The material aims to practice and familiarize students with academic vocabulary and reading comprehension skills and strategies. This is realized through economic texts and biographies of major economists. Special focus is also given on familiarizing students with the vocabulary of their immediate environment (Greece and the university) in English. This aims to make students confident both of their receptive and expressive (productive) capacity in English, as they will be able to express their immediate environment more easily in the foreign language.

Αξιολόγηση: end-of-semester exam. There is also possibility of continuous assessment (five homework assignments) that will give students an extra bonus mark on top of their final mark.
