Information on access to the University of Macedonia building

 

Starting on Monday 13th September 2021, before entering the University of Macedonia building you are required to display

  • a negative PCR/rapid test for Covid-19, or
  • a certificate of vaccination, once fully vaccinated for at least 14 days, or
  • a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 within the last six months.

According to the current legislation: “…a PCR laboratory COVID-19 diagnostic test using nucleic acid detection (PCR, PoC) must be carried out by orally obtaining pharyngeal or nasopharyngeal sample not older than (72) hours and an antigen detection test (rapid test) must be carried out within forty-eight (48) hours prior to any event for which certification is requested. The above should be certified: (a) either by listed public or private laboratories, and (b) should include the name of the person as it appears on an official identity card or passport. The certificate of recovery is issued following a laboratory diagnostic testing via PCR method or after testing using rapid antigen detection COVID-19 (rapid test), within thirty (30) days after the first positive test and is valid up to one hundred and eighty (180) days following the positive test outcome. The first positive test must be carried out by (a) a public authority following the relevant legislation or (b) by listed public or private laboratories and should include the name of the individual as it appears on the official identity card or passport. The above certificates/attestations are displayed either in hardcopy or electronic format or via the digital platform www.gov.gr or in digital form with simultaneous identity check of their holder...

Display of the above documents by all visitors will take place upon entering the building of the University of Macedonia.

It is noted that in case of a verified positive test result, the current health protocols of the Greek National Public Health Organization (NPHO) will be applied.

Finally, we hereby remind you that according to the current provisions, the use of a non-medical mask is required a) in all indoor areas and b) in all outdoor areas, in case of overcrowding.
