PROCEDURE FOR EXAMINATION WITH PHYSICAL PRESENCE - WINTER SEMESTER OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022

In order to ensure the maximum possible safety and health protection of the students, teachers and supervisors participating in the exams of the winter semester of the current academic year and according to the documents no. 2293 / Ζ1 / 10.1.2022 and 4714 / Ζ1 / 14.1.2022 of the Deputy Minister of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, Mr. Evangelos Syrigos, the following were decided unanimously at the meeting of the Senate No. 9 / 20.1.2022:

-         The examinations of the winter semester of the academic year 2021-2022 (written or oral) are carried out with physical presence in places where there will be permanent ventilation, with open windows, as well as air purification through the installed devices.

-         The use of a protective mask is mandatory throughout the examination for all participants. The use of a high respiratory protection mask (FFP2 or KN95) or alternatively a double mask is recommended.

-         To protect everyone from the spread of Covid-19, the updated Covid-19 Case Management Guidelines  posted on the University website (meeting no. 25 / 14.1.2022 of the Rector's Council) will be observed.

-         Students who will come to the exams must have with them the certificate of registration in the edupass platform, as well as the certificate of vaccination or disease (in force) or a certificate of negative laboratory test after performing a molecular test (PCR) up to seventy-two (72) hours or rapid antigen test (rapid) up to forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled start time of the course, as well as the student ID card. Prior to the commencement of the examination, the supervisors will carry out the identity check and the above-mentioned certificates.

-         For foreigners or other students who do not have an A.M.K.A. or TAXISNET codes for an alternative way of connection and authentication on the edupass platform, their participation in the examination process will be done with the process of identification and parallel demonstration of vaccination certificate or disease certificate, or negative PCR certificate up to seventy-two (72) (rapid) up to forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled start time of the course, as well as the student ID card

-         Students who are infected will not take the exam for as long as they are in isolation according to the health isolation protocol. Their absence due to illness is presumed exclusively through their registration on the edupass platform. The specific students will be examined in the courses in which they were compulsorily absent, during the period from 21 to 26 February 2022.

-         Foreign students who are infected and will not participate in the exams, can be examined in the courses in which they were absent having as a presumption the presentation of a positive molecular test (PCR) or the presentation of a positive antigen test (rapid) at the time of examination.
