The Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia hosts the spring meeting/conference of the European Chamber Music Association (ECMTA, https://ecmta.eu/) of which it is a member. ECMTA has members from 17 European countries.The program includes masterclasses, discussions and lectures as well as two Chamber Music concerts with free admission.

   The first concert will take place on 26 April 2024 at 20:00 at the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art.  Works by Frank Bridge, Tõnu Kõrvits, Nino Rota and Antonin Dvořák will be performed by students of the Estonian Academy of Music, the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

   The second concert will take place with free admission on April 27, 2024 at 20:00 at the Ceremonial Amphitheatre of the University of Macedonia. Works by Max Bruch, Francis Poulenc, York Bowen and Antonin Dvořák will be performed by students of the Music College "Heino Eller Tartu" of Estonia and the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia.

   The event is funded by the Research Committee of the University of Macedonia. The scientific coordinator of the event is Professor D. Chandrakis of DMSA.
