The Department of Accounting and Finance of the School of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia has achieved an important success; the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – ACCA has certified the Department for five years. This international recognition is expected to significantly enhance the international recognition of the professional qualifications of the Department’s graduates.

More specifically, the specialization "Accounting- Taxation" of the Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the School of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia has been accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for the period from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2022.

This accreditation concerns the exemption of the specialization’s graduates from the professional examination of F1 to F7 Units of ACCA, as this international organization considers that the high-level studies provided by the degree of the Department of Accounting and Finance meet the requirements of this examination. The examination leads to the internationally recognized professional designation of “Certified Accountant” (Certified Chartered Accountant).
