Cooperation Agreements between the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia.

Text of the agreement

The Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia have signed a cooperation protocol for the implementation of a program of exchange and collaboration in areas of common interest and benefit.

The agreements have been made with:

• the Mathematical Institute, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade, Serbia (http://www.mi.sanu.ac.rs)

• the Laboratory of Operational Research, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia (http://www.fon.bg.ac.rs/eng)

In addition to the aforementioned collaborations, the laboratory has concluded three (3) memoranda of cooperation with the research laboratories:

• Center for Advanced Process Decision-Making (CAPD), Department of Chemical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University (http://capd.cheme.cmu.edu/)

• Laboratory for Analysis and Modelling of Decision Support Systems (LAMSADE), Université Paris-Dauphine (https://www.lamsade.dauphine.fr/en.html)

• Reliability Engineering Laboratory (RELab), Department of Financial and Management Engineering, School of Business, University of the Aegean.

The Laboratory of 'Computational Methods and Operational Research (CMOR Lab)', Department of Applied Informatics, School of Information Science of the University of Macedonia, recently concluded a two (2) agreements for academic (memorandums) on cooperation in research and transfer of know-how in the fields of Operational Research and Computational Science.
