Course List

Dear Erasmus student,

Erasmus office welcomes you and wishes you a good stay in the city of Thessaloniki. We are delighted that you have chosen to study in University of Macedonia.

Although the official teaching language of our University is Greek, from the academic year 2008/2009 onwards, our faculties -in order to facilitate the Erasmus mobility-, offer to incoming Erasmus students, an interdepartmental programme of courses taught in English.

As an Erasmus student, you will study together with Greeks and exchange students. In addition, you will be living in a city that has all the benefits of a capital.

No formal proof of language competence is currently required. However, students taking courses in English should have a proficient knowledge of both written and spoken English.

Each course in the catalogue is assigned with the ECTS credits. The normal workload for a semester is 30 ECTS credits. It is important that you consult with your department Erasmus coordinator prior to course selection, ensuring academic recognition and prepare appropriately your Learning Αgreement before your arrival in Thessaloniki.

Changes in the course list may occur. The University reserves the right to cancel any courses due to unforeseen circumstances.Courses will be provided upon request.

The UoM is pleased to offer Greek Language Courses. The courses are suitable for all Erasmus Incoming Students and are available through the Department of Balkan Slavic and Oriental studies and the Department of Business Administration. For those interested in joining a Greek Language Course and the enrollment procedure you should contact your Departmental Administrative Personnel (administrative Erasmus coordinator in UoM).

The following course catalogue will give you detailed information about each course, when it is taught, the syllabus, form of examination, etc.
