What you should do during your traineeship and after returning
Immediately after your arrival at the the host institution, you should do the following as soon as possible:
- After your arrival abroad and within 5 days you must send us the Certification of Arrival completed and signed by your traineeship provider at the E-mail address: erasmus@uom.edu.gr
- If you wish to extend or shorten the period of your stay at the host institution/organization compared to what is stated in your training agreement and contract, you must contact the Erasmus office to get approval for the change in the length of your stay. Requests to change your period of stay must be made at least one (1) month before the end of the planned mobility period.
For a final mobility period that is shorter than what is stated in the contract, the following shall apply:
- If the final mobility period is up to 5 days shorter than that of the contract, then 20% of the scholarship is paid in full.
- If the final period of mobility is shorter by fewer than 6 days compared to the contract, the 20% of the scholarship is reduced proportionally based on the remaining days.
In the case of an approved modification to the period of your traineeship, you must send us the completed and signed "During The Mobility" section of the Learning Agreement.
Important note: Your correspondence with the Erasmus Office of the University of Macedonia and the Host University must be conducted exclusively through your institutional email account.
Actions to take after completing your traineeship abroad.
Before returning to Greece, you must give the forms "After The Mobility" of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships and the "Traineeship Certificate" to your traineeship provider to be completed and signed. Please make sure that the date of signing the form does not precede the end date of your internship.
In order for your traineeship to be considered complete and for you to receive the remaining 20% of your scholarship, you must complete the following actions:
- Submit to the Erasmus Office the form After the mobility of the Learning Agreement for traineeships
- Submit the Traineeship Certificate to the Erasmus Office
- Send us your return boarding pass (airplane)/ ticket (for all other modes of transportation). If the documents are in printed format, they must be submitted in their original form.
You should also submit electronically:
- The Final Report (EU survey), which you receive electronically with an automated message after the end of your internship. The Final report is in the form of an electronic questionnaire with different types of questions.
Completing all of the above is mandatory for the disbursement of the remaining 20% of your scholarship the second installment installment.
