    Course Outlines

    Upon completion of the course, it is expected that students will be able to research and study the conditions and the factors that prevail in a foreign market in order to gather the information and data necessary to make a decision on whether, and to what extent, products that the firm wants to export or produce and sell in that particular foreign market need to be modified and adapted to the conditions of that market, as well as to the preferences of local buyers. They will then be able to proceed with the formulation of the export marketing plan for the specific foreign market, which will also include the definition of the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement).

    H Μακροοικονομική μελετά τη συμπεριφορά και τα προβλήματα του οικονομικού συστήματος στο σύνολό του. Ο στόχος του μαθήματος είναι οι φοιτητές να κατανοήσουν τη σημασία και τη χρησιμότητα των μακροοικονομικών μεγεθών για το νοικοκυριό και την επιχείρηση. Τα θέματα που μελετώνται περιλαμβάνουν την έννοια και τους στόχους της μακροοικονομικής πολιτικής, τον ρόλο του δημόσιου τομέα και της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας (ΕΚΤ) στην οικονομία και στη διαμόρφωση της δημοσιονομικής και νομισματικής πολιτικής, τη σχέση μεταξύ του Ακαθάριστου Εγχώριου Προϊόντος (ΑΕΠ), του Εθνικού Εισοδήματος (ΕΕ) και της συνολικής κατανάλωσης και αποταμίευσης, τους παράγοντες που προσδιορίζουν το μέγεθος των επενδύσεων του ιδιωτικού τομέα, και τον τρόπο προσδιορισμού του ΑΕΠ και του ΕΕ. Επιπλέον, μελετώνται η έννοια και η σημασία της δημοσιονομικής και νομισματικής πολιτικής, το υπόδειγμα της συνολικής ζήτησης και συνολικής προσφοράς και η σημασία της άσκησης της μακροοικονομικής πολιτικής στα πλαίσια του υποδείγματος αυτού. Τέλος, εξετάζονται οι παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν τον ρυθμό οικονομικής ανάπτυξης, τη λειτουργία των αγορών χρήματος, το ύψος των επιτοκίων, τον πληθωρισμό, την ανεργία, την απασχόληση, τα ελλείμματα του προϋπολογισμού του δημόσιου τομέα και το μέγεθος του δημόσιου ή εθνικού χρέους.

    Η Μικροοικονομική μελετά την οικονομική συμπεριφορά δύο σημαντικών οικονομικών μονάδων, του καταναλωτή (ή νοικοκυριού) και της επιχείρησης. Συγκεκριμένα, αναλύει α) τις συνθήκες κάτω από τις οποίες τα νοικοκυριά αποφασίζουν ποια αγαθά και σε τι ποσότητες θα τα αγοράσουν, τις τιμές που είναι διατεθειμένα να πληρώσουν για να τα αγοράσουν, καθώς και τις τιμές στις οποίες θα διαθέσουν τους παραγωγικούς συντελεστές που έχουν στην ιδιοκτησία τους, και β) τις συνθήκες κάτω από τις οποίες οι επιχειρήσεις αποφασίζουν τις ποσότητες παραγωγικών συντελεστών που θα αγοράσουν, ποια προϊόντα θα παράγουν, σε ποια ποσότητα θα τα παράγουν και σε τι τιμή θα τα πουλήσουν. Στα πλαίσια αυτά παρουσιάζονται ο βασικός οικονομικός τρόπος σκέψης, οι παραγωγικές δυνατότητες της οικονομίας, οι έννοιες της ζήτησης και προσφοράς και των ελαστικοτήτων τους, η οικονομική αποδοτικότητα και δικαιοσύνη στις αγορές, η επιβολή ανώτατων και κατώτατων τιμών, η καταναλωτική επιλογή και η θεωρία της χρησιμότητας, οι θεωρίες παραγωγής και κόστους και η συμπεριφορά της επιχείρησης σε διαφορετικές δομές αγορών.
