Undergraduate and postgraduate students are granted a discount on the fares of road, rail and ferry public transport when travelling within the country. The discount is provided for the entire academic year upon presentation of the special ticket (pass) issued by the Electronic Service for Obtaining a Special Ticket.

Students who were classified as University/Technological Educational Institute graduates given that they have acquired another degree, those who have completed their studies and those who have reached the maximum period of benefits allowed are not entitled to a special ticket (pass) providing a discount on the ticket price for urban and long-distance transport.
