In 2012, during the annual Orphées d’Or Awards ceremony, Angelica received the prestigious critics’ award "Orphée d’Or 2012 for the best recording of contemporary vocal music" for Xenakis’ work Zyia released by the French label SAPHIR (LVC 1168). The ceremony was held at the Bastille Opera in Paris within the frame of the Grand Prix International du Disque Lyrique of the Academie du Disque Lyrique and was presided over by Pierre Bergé.
