The MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics of the Department of Applied Informatics of the School of Information Sciences of the University of Macedonia was firstly introduced during the academic year 2019-2020 (Government Gazette/Founding B6199/31-12-2018, Government Gazette/ Operation RegulationB6156 /31-12-2018).
Specialization - Purpose
The MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics aims to provide postgraduate training in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, so that holders of the degree are equipped with strong scientific background, experience and expertise in the adoption of best practices and solutions to problems that require reasoning and decision-making skills based on the management, analysis, processing and implementation of vast amounts of data.
The MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics aims to:
- provide high quality graduate level studies
- provide knowledge of the contemporary developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics
- prepare students for doctoral studies
- create scientists with the required theoretical and technological background in order to participate in research and career development activities in the private, public and academic sector.
