The Postgraduate Study Program “MSc in Applied Economics” started its operation during the academic year 2018-19. The program operates and is organized by the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia.

The aim of the “MSc in Applied Economics” is to meet the postgraduate level needs of trained business executives in the private and public sector, with skills that contribute to an in-depth comprehension of the functioning of markets and the development of optimal investment and business policies.

The main objectives of the MSc are:

• To provide high level postgraduate studies.
• To train qualified graduates with a solid theoretical background in Economics and the ability to manage practical problems.
• To develop the essential critical and research skills required for doctoral studies.
• To promote Interdepartmental research through teaching and analysis of previous research topics and theses.
