The Extroversion Committee of the Department of Applied Informatics (IT) is active in the organization of actions and events in order to expand the collaborations, promotion, and promotion of the Department. It pursues this by designing and implementing actions related to four pillars of extroversion:

Liaison actions with Secondary Education that include cooperation with schools and student briefings in order to promote IT and attract a high level of admissions.

Actions related to undergraduate and postgraduate students of IT through the highlighting of their significant achievements, the organization of voluntary actions, ensuring their employment in companies, volunteer programs, student competitions, and other actions.

Actions aimed at highlighting the research of the department that include the recording and promotion of IC synergies with other academic departments (academic cooperation agreements, Erasmus +), scientific bodies and notable individual researchers in Greece and internationally, the recording of National and International Of the department, the promotion of the thematic areas of engagement of the members of the ICU and the promotion of the scientific distinctions of the members of the ICU.

Actions aimed at the cooperation of the IT with institutions and companies that include the cooperation with business and institutional bodies, the investigation of the needs of the labor market, the participation of the IT in relevant business actions and events, and the promotion of discrimination in business matters. Cooperation is sought with institutions and companies that employ IT students in the context of internships and the organization of relevant workshops.

In order to implement the above, the Extroversion Committee holds regular meetings within the Department, as well as meetings and collaborations with other academic institutions and business bodies, gathers information and studies relevant actions and programs that can help in the development of ICU and coordinates the actions of Faculty members of the Department.
