After enrolling for the BSc in Accounting and Finance, you will obtain your Registration Number and will obtain your student e-mail which provides you access to all University educational platforms and databases. The registration number is necessary for all academic interactions with the Faculty and the University Services.

Advice: For questions related to each module, you may contact the respective instructor during teaching, or contact him/her via e-mail. Please use your official email, once you obtain one.

Important announcements about modules, the programme of studies, the timetable and scheduled sessions or other University-related issues, will be either communicated through the website of the Department https://www.uom.gr/en/accfineng, through the students’ platform, or through notifications sent to your student. It is therefore necessary to check your emails on a daily basis.

To issue your Student ID, please visit the webpage https://submit-academicid.minedu.gov.gr/ of the Ministry of Education and follow the instructions provided.
Attention: The photo that you will upload must be in accordance with the standards of any other official government identification documents. For further details about the process, you may contact the Administration Team. Being an official government document, in case of loss, a replacement process will need to be initiated, including the signing of an official declaration form and it may take a while or incur costs. So, please be careful with your student ID.

All courses will take place at the time and venues specified in the timetable. On some occasions it may also be possible to join a teaching session electronically if you wish, but you are expected to live in Thessaloniki and physically interact with the University. Especially if you are an international student under a Student Visa, attendance is compulsory and will be monitored.

Teaching material are usually uploaded in advance or soon after a teaching session at the education portal Open eClass. The instructor will provide guidance for self-learning or set assignments which you must to do your best to always observe.

For academic matters, such as the delivery of courses and educational material, you should contact your respective course instructor via your UoM email. You will be able to find the list of email addresses of the academic staff here. You should also note that academic staff observe office hours if you need to visit in person, though emailing them in advance is strongly recommended.

Advice: Please check the Department's website regularly as any changes to the timetable will be displayed there.

For technical issues that arise during the attendance of the courses, please do not contact the Adminstration, but do contact Mr. Apostolos Patakas, tel .: 2310891667, e-mail: apatak@uom.edu.gr or Mr. Karatzidis Stratos, tel .: 2310891687, E-mail: kstratos@uom.edu.gr, who are the Department’s Special Technical Laboratory Staff (ETEP).
