The Department of Accounting and Finance, School of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia received a five-year certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants-ACCA. This international recognition will have particularly beneficial effects on the recognition of the professional qualifications of the graduates of the Department both in Greece and internationally.

In specific, the Division of "Accounting - Auditing" of the Undergraduate Program of the Department of Accounting and Finance, School of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia, was certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for the period from 01/2018 to 01/01 / 12/2022.

The high level of studies of the Department of Accounting and Finance covers the requirements of the respective examinations, which lead to the internationally recognized professional title of "Certified Chartered Accountant" resulting in the certification regarding the exemption of the graduates of the Department from the examinations, for sections F1 through F7 of the ACCA.
