The goal of the Department of Accounting and Finance is to create and disseminate knowledge that enriches its students and allows them to lead in the job market in the areas of Accounting and Finance. 

To achieve this goal the Department offers a wide range of courses that provide (a) general knowledge in the areas of Business Administration and Economics and (b) specialized knowledge in the areas of Accounting and Finance.

Furthermore, the necessary knowledge of the legislation concerning business activity is provided through a series of law courses.

Research in topics that concern companies and organizations is another area where the Department concentrates.
